Dr. Pascal Rey-Herme co-founded AEA International in 1985 with Arnaud Vaissié.
Pascal is an acknowledged expert in numerous medical fields such as aeromedicine and the provision of medical services and logistical planning in remote locations, particularly Africa and the former Soviet Union.
Before co-founding AEA International, Pascal was medical attaché at the French embassy in Indonesia where he was responsible for the medical care of embassy staff. He acted in a consulting role for the French community there and advised companies on health issues.
Pascal graduated from the Medical school of the University of Paris Sorbonne. He developed his emergency experience when he was working as an emergency physician at Paris Airport as well as at the SAMU (Service d' Aide Medicale d'Urgence) in France in the late 1970's. SAMU is the largest pre-hospital care organization in Europe responsible for rescue and intensive care medical transportation. |
