This five-day virtual training course, running from 14:00 – 17:00 BST each day, will encompass understanding travel risks, developing a travel-related risk assessment and traveller’s briefing as well as building an organisation’s travel directives and incident management plan.
The course addresses the roles of key individuals such as the occupational safety and health practitioner in identifying, assessing and managing health, security and safety risks. The course will also cover travellers’ briefings and participation in incident management.
The goal of the course is for the participant to develop a clear understanding of the role of the occupational safety and health practitioner in managing travel safety, health and security with a view to building a travel safety, health and security culture within the organisation including an overall understanding of the identification and management of associated risks, and travellers’ briefings and incident management.
