There are 422 million people globally, and 6 million in Nigeria, who live with diabetes. This chronic disease, related to how a person's body makes and uses insulin, is currently on the rise.
Since people with pre-existing conditions like diabetes have higher chances of suffering from severe forms of COVID-19, it is now even more important to learn how to prevent and manage this lifelong disease.
