Our History

International SOS has been operating in Vietnam since 1989. Through on the ground experience and knowledge, International SOS understands the medical and security challenges facing organisations in their day-to-day operations. 

Our role in Vietnam is to provide care for mobile workforce, international assignees and their families. Since 1989, we have invested significantly to do so and in recognition of our contribution, the President of Vietnam awarded International SOS Vietnam with Labour Medal in 2003 and 2009.

Our Insights & Numbers

Our expertise spans multiple industries, including energy, mining, infrastructure, scholastic Sector, technology, manufacturing, financial services, government, and NGOs. We provide bespoke solutions to ensure the health, safety, and productivity of your workforce, regardless of location.
Our 24-hour Assistance and Response Centers in Ho Chi Minh City manage around 2,500 cases annually, with 35 cases being medical or security evacuations. We partner with over 800 accredited local healthcare, medical, and logistics providers and support 35 remote sites across Vietnam, including 20 onshore and 15 offshore sites. 
Our team comprises 150 employees, with more than half being medical professionals capable of delivering on-site medical services for clients.
